LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers, for Marcel Adrien Tu, 11, who passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 1:35 a.m., at University Medical Center.

The Rev. Todd Menard, Pastor of Family Life Church, will conduct the funeral services.

Marcel Tu, a resident of Scott, LA, was the son of Yenter Tu of Taiwan and Annie LeJeune of Port Arthur, Texas.

He is survived by his deaf parents, Yenter Tu and Annie LeJeune Tu, both of Scott; one brother, Yenter "Chuck" Tu; his maturnal grandmother, Janice LeJeune; paternal grandmother, Su-huei Hsu; one Aunt, Angela Lentini; and husband, Tony, of Rayne; one Uncle, Jonathan Lejeune and wife, Patti LeJeune, of Massachusettes.

He was preceded in death by his his maternal grandfather, Edward LeJeune and his paternal grandfather, Chang-feng Tu.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Wednesday, May 6, 2009, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
